Nexus Gaming operates this website, related services, and the Nexus Gaming community spaces. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy form a single agreement that applies whenever you visit, create an account through Steam, purchase digital items, or otherwise interact with us.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the Nexus Gaming website, dashboards, servers, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms and all incorporated policies.

1. Acceptance of terms

You may not use the Services if you disagree with any part of these Terms. Continued use following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility & accounts

Steam authentication is required to access the dashboard and participate in staff workflows. You must ensure your Steam account remains in good standing and that the credentials you use belong to you. We reserve the right to deny access where we believe an account has been compromised or is being misused.

3. Community conduct

To keep the community safe you agree that you will not:

• Engage in harassment, hate speech, cheating, scripting, or other unfair play.
• Threaten, intimidate, or otherwise harm players, staff, or the Nexus infrastructure.
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or automation to gain an unfair advantage.
• Impersonate Nexus staff or represent that you speak for Nexus Gaming without express permission.

4. Digital goods & payments

Items purchased through our store are delivered instantly as digital benefits. Because delivery is immediate, the usual 14-day withdrawal right does not apply. We may refuse refunds where a player breaches server rules or attempts to charge back a transaction.

5. Intellectual property

All branding, logos, custom artwork, and written content on the Services remain the property of Nexus Gaming or our licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without prior written consent.

6. Service availability

We aim to provide continuous uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, patches, and third-party outages (including Steam or BattleMetrics) may affect availability. We are not liable for loss resulting from downtime.

7. Third-party links

The Services may link to Discord, Steam, BattleMetrics, payment processors, or other external resources. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or policies.

8. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access to any part of the Services without refund if you breach these Terms, threaten community safety, or manipulate the platform.

9. Changes to the Services

We may evolve or discontinue features without notice. Material changes to these Terms will be highlighted on this page with an updated effective date.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that territory.

Privacy Policy

The data controller is Nexus Gaming Leadership Team. Our designated data protection lead is Data Protection Lead.

• Server telemetry: Player counts, connection timestamps, and status data received from BattleMetrics or SourceQuery.
• Support details: Messages, application submissions, or contact information you voluntarily provide via forms or Discord.
• Transaction data: Purchase history or donation records provided by our payment platform to fulfil digital orders.
• Usage data: Basic analytics such as page views, consent choices, and cookie preferences required to operate the site.

3. How we use your information

• To operate and secure the website, servers, and admin panel.
• To verify your identity through Steam and maintain session security.
• To process store purchases, deliver in-game items, and handle support enquiries.

Each partner processes data under their own privacy terms. We require that they implement appropriate security and comply with applicable privacy laws.

Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on the Services.

1. Essential cookies

We set a small essential cookie after you authenticate with Steam so we can keep you signed in securely. We also store a preference cookie to remember whether you allowed or declined essential cookies.

2. Consent management

The cookie banner presented on first visit lets you choose whether to allow essential cookies. You can revisit this choice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer.

3. Retention

Cookie preferences are stored for approximately 6 months, after which you may be asked to confirm your choice again.
